EASTER BRUNCH TABLESCAPE 2018

March 16, 2018

I truly wanted to create a simplistic table for my Easter brunch. These holidays keep rolling in faster and faster, so time is of the essence. While wandering around Hobby Lobby, I came across vibrant green eucalyptus branches and pink statice sprays and knew these were to set the stage for my table setting.  Pairing these two colors on my matte black table would make a stunning combo.

I wanted to ensure my centerpiece took center stage but was created with simple findings. Foam prefab glitter, metallic eggs, and faux greenery contained by a rustic rope ring pulls it all together.

The eggs I found were a bit too stark, so I picked up some metallic paint and sponged on silver to create more of an ombré look.

I found a small packet of feathers, which would work great as place card holders. This simple detail could elevate your table to truly memorable.

One thing I’ve noticed when trying to find inspiration for this Easter is that that pale, millennial pink we’ve been seeing everywhere is still really popular (who can blame everyone?—it’s so pretty!), so when I came across a bag of bright multicolored eggs, I knew I was in luck.

Intertwine the eucalyptus branches to make a little nest to rest your egg and then garnish with a succulent. Together these details make a nice connection to one another.

Tusen takk, thousand thanks,

Torill
